ABOUT

Hello, I’m Ștefan Ionuț Perșe, and one thing I’ve always known for sure is my love for creative expression. From my early school years, I’ve been drawn to art, design, architecture, and later even to Argentine tango and memes.
My creative journey started in Baia Mare, at an art high school where I first explored drawing, logos, and visual storytelling. I then continued with studies in architecture and urban planning in Cluj-Napoca, where I deepened my understanding of form, space, and design. Over the years, I discovered that what excites me most is finding playful, elegant ways to connect creativity with everyday life.
Out of this search, Hexity was born. Inspired by the mesmerizing work of M.C. Escher, Hexity has grown into a whole universe of creations: digital illustrations, fine art prints, wall panels, wallpapers, Hexity Snowflakes, and other projects or objects that all share the same foundation.

At its core, Hexity is built on the regular hexagon and the isometric grid derived from it. This geometric structure becomes the stage for a distinctive graphic language: interconnected alleys and stairways that weave into optical illusions, sometimes combined with buildings, structures, or other architectural elements.
Each piece carries this visual DNA, whether it’s a wall panel, a digital artwork, a large-scale mural, or even a snowflake that simply reflects the purity of the hexagonal form.
Hexity is more than a project. It’s a playground of imagination where curiosity meets craftsmanship. And it’s not just something I create, it can also be something you build and explore.
